New DIY CNC – Revision 3 – Cutting Metal

This is a video about the CNC machines I build and the related automation principles. The machines of the latest revision are getting finished and I show the first one cutting metal which wasn’t possible in earlier models.

There are a handful of issues though, which is why this is in the “Impromptu Incidents” playlist.

I never did a hello or goodbye in my main video so I had to add one after the fact (not bad, just different), but the audio was too quiet so I had to boost in post.

This is the first video I’ve made using Kdenlive (open source video editor) instead of Adobe. I think I can get used to it but it is a fair amount different. I’ll probably do a “first impressions” video on it in the future.
