Copper is difficult to #machine because of its high ductility and high cold workability. Tool wear is high and chip formation very poor. The #copper is so soft and will be gumming on bit while #machining, so the right speed, rpm and lubrication is essential.
We have to keep the tool slow and make sure the chips have good exit. There is a chance of small build up of copper around the cutting edges ,as a result of not able to remove enough heat.
