When god gives you lockdowns, make guitars out of it!
Milling a whole guitar (body, neck and fretboard) on a homemade, mostly 3D-printed CNC machine! Another long cherished dream comes true for me!
In this video I show you how I make all the wooden parts. I plan to turn this into a series of 2 – 3 videos until the guitar is 100% done.
I am still amazed this actually worked! I made the machine on my own and this is also the first CNC job I ever milled myself.
It’s an MPCNC, I used flat endmilles (Ø10 / 6 / 4 / 0.6mm) and ball head endmills (Ø6 / 4mm) and the wood is black cherry (body), roasted maple (neck), and pear (fretboard).
Enjoy!
