Responding to this market demand, Cubic Machinery has been designing automated loading and unloading system to go with its own GT mini PLUS gang tool CNC lathe. As is shown in this video, it is a potent combination that enables the customer to load and unload inconel aerospace fasteners for machining on the GT mini PLUS without human intervention. The customer benefits from massive labor saving and more flexible setups compared to old cam-based screw machines.
The video shown here is just one earlier iteration of the screw loader. Cubic Machinery has since designed other loaders for different segments of the fastener industry. Cubic Machinery has developed several feeding and loading modules that can be orchestrated together to deliver an automation package quickly that fits the family of parts and volume quantity the customer needs.
