DIY CNC Plasma Controller



This is a DIY CNC Plasma Controller replacement for my Langmuir Crossfire stock controller. I needed more inputs and other functionality to support the mods I made to the machine. This is what I came up with.

Parts:

Proma SD THC

Kemo water switch for ohmic

The controller is an AXBB-E. I bought the one bundled with UCCNC

Enclosure (it was cheap and is ok. I have an aluminum board I used to mount the components on. I cut it on the plasma.)

ethernet panel jack

24V 80mm fan

arming switch for torch on/off

5V power supply (for the axbb-e power)

24V power supply (for axbb-e inputs and 24V fan)

36V power supply for steppers (this one is adjustable between 0 to 48V. The reason I ordered it was because of fast shipping. A 36V 350+W power supply would be fine)

24V 8 relay board

2 pin aviation plugs (12mm)

4 pin aviation plugs (12mm) Note next time I would use 16mm for these for the steppers

Power switch (this one is only 5am fuse but rated for 10amp. I ordered it because I had a 10amp fused on hand and it was quickest delivery.
