CNC Programming Techniques for Profile Milling

Learn how to utilize a subprogram technique for profile milling around a part.

In this lesson, Matt Schmelzer from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will be cutting a basic rectangle profile. He will use step jaws to interpolate around the part.

Matt will also go through a few techniques that will allow you to incorporate one basic sub program for two different tools (roughing and finishing), with two different diameters, at two different RPMs and feed rates.
