Cnc Plasma are great fun but can be quite expensive .But if you are making a diy cnc then you are going to need a good plasma torch suitable of being used for cnc plasma cutting.Dont try and use your existing torch as its almost impossible to attach it in the correct position. I don’t use thermal dynamics torches or hypertherm as i have always used the most cost effective plasma torches i could find. Mostly because of the consumable replacement price so i tend to stick with what i can afford. Most are just generic plasma torches out of china.
