A quick video describing some tips and tricks for machining HDPE on my AvidCNC Benchtop Pro. Not surprisingly, plastic is super easy machine relative to metal… but there are a few tricks that ensure a good finish and accurate dimensions

The project in question is another set of face shield molds for some viewers that requested them (tweaked slightly to use Smoothcast 65D, hence the different/thinner shape). But the objective of this video is to give general tips for machining HDPE, not specific details about the mold or operations.
