This is my data sculpture of a mountain valley located in Colorado; just north of Great Sand Dunes National Park. Machined from hand made exotic plywood including, Padauk, Hard Maple, and Purple Heart on baltic birch. This took about 6 hours to make. The video represents 7,982 7K photographs shot on my DSLR as an image sequence. The 1-minute version on Instagram was my first CNC machining video as well as my first video to go viral.
