Mazatrol Programming Tutorial CNC Milling Flange Lathe. In this video, I am showing how to machine a two bolt flange using the live milling function of this Mazak CNC Lathe. I forgot to mention in the video, but the endmill X geometry needs to be set the same as you would a drill bit. X0 is the center of the endmill. Also, the geometry is shown rotated 90° CCW because X axis is vertical on the screen on the lathe. The bearings are worn out in my milling holders so the milled surface finish is not the best.
