In this video i give away my best advice for Drill Power Tapping a hole.
I started putting all the bolts into the cnc frame with the intention of filling the machine with epoxy and sand to dampen vibrations not expecting to be drill power tapping through a hardened bolt.
But then i quickly realized that when i had done all the welding on the machine it must have shrunk and moved a lot more than i expected and the holes where very tight.
I was removing one of the tight bolts and it snapped when coming out.
I ended up cutting the bolt off flush and drilling through the bolt (not fun)
and the re tapping the hole with my power drill.
i then got to complete the original job of filling the machine with epoxy and sand.
