DIY – CNC ENCLOSURE // USING LEFTOVER WOOD ONLY

In this video I built a CNC router enclosure, using only leftover wood around my shop. This machine (3018 PRO) can get really loud when it’s cutting, so i had to come up with an idea to make sure the noise level is as low as possible. I added soundproof foam tape where the door is closing and extra layer of Silicone in the joints all around.
Adding acrylic glass to 2 of the sides allows me to regularly check and monitor the cut.

Featured products:
– Acrylic plexiglass (pack of 2) 42 x 29 cm (Currently out of stock on Amazon, but there are many similar items

– 2M LED Backlight USB

– 10mm Soundproof foam isolation tape

– Spring loaded toggle latches (pack of 2)

– Ball bearing runners (for the laptop shelf)

The rest of this project is leftover 18mm Plywood, 18mm MDF and 12mm Plywood for the additional shelf underneath the enclosure.
