Mikes CNC Desktop Router

This is my first ever post, a short video of a CNC router I’m building from scratch ! I live in an apartment so I had to keep the size down, it’s about 20’x 20″ x 16″ high. I am a member of a Seniors Club that has a metalworking shop with a lathe & a milling machine. So I make the parts at Club then do the assembly work at home. My CNC is my spin on the Sienci Labs Longmill MK2 a fantastic machine I might add. The white material is 6 mm phenolic its strong & light, it was also cheap, I like cheap ! It’s about 80 % done, I waiting on linear rails & timing belt for the Z axis. Then I have to install 4 Nema 23 stepper motors, it’s a work in process. I’m nearly 80 years old & this is a whole new ballgame for me, but I’m sure having a lot of fun making this machine.
