DIY CNC Dust shoe for Workbee with Makita router



This is a dust shoe solution for Makita router based CNC machines such as the Workbee models.

In addendum to this video, I would like to note the following:
The upper shoe dust port is designed to snuggly accept a 1 7/8″ inch hose (See link below).
Version 1 of the lower shoe has an opening designed to allow the shoe to pass through the 1/4″ shank of a router bit. Also, the version two model is designed with a thicker wall to accept fasteners when choosing a skirt that needs to adhere along the outer perimeter of the lower shoe.
