I found my first trial of DIY Helicopter. The McCulloch Grass Trimmer engine was installed into a DIY CNC machined Helicopter frame. However, due to low RPM, it wasn’t able to lift off.
Phase 2: improved the gear ratio
Phase 3: trails with another engine (Zenoah 230 RC) and better gear ratio
Phase 4: new frame and yes, it can fly…
